Arnold S. Jacobson, D.M.D.

For dental care, quality service is more than just restoring a tooth carefully or achieving a beautiful cosmetic effect. Quality service begins with the first call a patient makes. Every attempt will be made to find a time that fits both the patient and the doctorís schedules and make sure that the patient is informed exactly what procedure is being done. Emergencies are always seen within 24 hours of your call. A live voice answering service is maintained during non-business hours for this purpose.

It is the policy of this office to run on time. When a patient enters the office, they are greeted and made to feel at home in the reception area. Time spent there is brief. A thorough, professional exam is performed using an extensive checklist and the most current diagnostic equipment to be sure that everything is healthy. If it is not, Dr. Jacobson explains how it can be made better. He listens carefully to the patientís concerns and needs and answers every question. It is not enough to meet the patientís needs for only one visit. It is a continuing process to meet the needs of patients at every visit.

Dr. Arnold Jacobson was born and raised in St. Louis and attended University City public schools. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri. And earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1976. He joined his father, Dr. Sidney D. Jacobson in his private practice in Clayton, Missouri upon graduation and practiced in partnership with him for 26 years. He maintains a staff appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology of Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Jacobson serves as Attending Dentist for numerous extended care facilities and nursing homes in the St. Louis area. He was an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry at Washington University School of Dental Medicine from 1976-1991.
